Our mission

The Department of Physical Education and Sports is one of the demanded departments at our university, which conducts optional physical education classes, as well as sports events in various sports among students, teachers and employees of our university. Much attention is paid to sports sections in different directions for our students and employees, wewe want them to be healthy and harmoniously developed personalities.

We strive to create conditions for a full-fledged study of pedagogical approaches to the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the country's youth, represented by the students of our university. Therefore, we work closely with the Association of University Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Our tasks

Our department supports the aspirations for physical activity of students, professors, teachers and university staff and fulfills its missionyu through a series of tasks. We:

- we conduct sectional classes in various sports for students, teachers and university staff;

- we conduct selection and formation of national teams of the university in sports for participation in competitions of various sizes;

- we form students' practical knowledge about physical education;

- we carry out the promotion of strengthening the health of students and staff, as well as improving their physical development;

- acquainting students with the basicsmethods of the educational process, which is aimed at the comprehensive formation of a harmoniously developed personality;

- we give knowledge of the basics of a healthy lifestyle and physical education;

- we carry out sports events among students, teachers and university staff;

Our programs and projects

The sports club "Jurist Olympic" is officially opened at the department, we actively cooperate with various organizations, conclude contracts, provide sports and health services.

At the departments sports sections for mini-football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, checkers, bodybuilding, fitness, arm wrestling, tennis and wrestling are actively working. Students who have proven themselves represent the university at interuniversity city, regional and republican competitions.

In 2020, the staff of the department published a lot of scientific articles.

Faculty

Our teachers constantly work on themselves, improve their skills and knowledge, improve their qualifications, exchange experience with colleagues from foreign countries.

Today the department employs 3 teachers. In the process of sectional classes, we involve prize-winners, students on a grant basis, due to their sporting achievements. This is how other students canadopt sports knowledge and skills in practice.

The teachers of the department have personal sports qualifications in arm wrestling, athletics and wushu, have a wide range of sports, coaching and refereeing achievements.

In addition to the main activity, all teachers of the department are free applicants for the department of theory and methodology of physical culture of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.
