Professor Suziyama is a doctor of physics and mathematics, an internationally recognized scientist in the field of cosmology and astrophysics, and currently a talented and intelligent leader providing international scientific leadership to Nagoya University.
In 2005, the Center for the Study and Research of Japanese Law was established jointly with Nagoya University, which especially in recent years, thanks to Professor Suziyama's sincere attention and comprehensive support, has expanded its activities and reached a new level of efficiency. Today, the center is a unique academic platform specializing in teaching Japanese law, legal thinking and Japanese language in our country.
To date, the number of graduates of the center has reached 110. More than 40 of them have studied in Japan and are now actively involved in the development of legal education, research and legal reform in our country.
Through the direct support of Professor Suziyama, the center is able to send 8 talented students to short-term and long-term study programs at Nagoya University on a grant basis each year. In addition, every year, 2 of our undergraduate graduates are given the opportunity to study at Nagoya University's graduate school on a grant basis.
It is especially worth mentioning that due to the friendly and sincere cooperation of Prof. Suziyama, Nagoya University has established a close partnership not only with our university but also with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This cooperation offers opportunities for sharing experiences, studying the Japanese legal system, and enriching legal reforms in our country based on international experience.

All this is the result of Prof. Suziyama's deep interest, friendly attitude and good intentions. He has never retreated from benevolence and has always sincerely contributed to the development of education in Uzbekistan, especially in the legal field.
