Collaboration with Cardiff University and the University of SOAS is expanding

A delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Rabiyev, and the Acting Rector of Tashkent State University of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Islambek Rustambekov, visited Cardiff University and SOAS University.

During the visit, meetings were organized with the representatives of both institutions and negotiations were conducted.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to introduce joint programs: a 2+2 undergraduate program and a 1+1 master's program with Cardiff University.

During the visit to SOAS University, the delegation members familiarized themselves with the university's activities, including its centers such as the Arbitration Center, the Center for Comparative Law, and its library. Cooperation agreements were signed with the university and its centers, with commitments made to conduct joint research, organize training, and establish academic exchange programs.

For reference: Cardiff University, founded in 1883, is among the 24 leading research universities in the UK. It is ranked 186th in the "QS World University Rankings — 2024." The academic staff at Cardiff University includes 2 Nobel laureates, 17 members of the Royal Society, and 7 members of the British Academy. The university collaborates with over 300 universities in approximately 140 countries worldwide.
