The conference was organised by the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature in collaboration with the Department of Theory of State and Law of TSUL and the Department of Journalism and Kazakh Language at Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan University. It brought together deputies from the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, scholars, professors, postgraduate students from leading international universities, and representatives of various public and private organisations.
Key topics included the use of the state language in legislation, managing official documentation in the state language, creating legal terminological and explanatory dictionaries, legal terminology and its application in legislative language, linguistic analysis of draft legal acts, and issues related to jurislinguistics and legal drafting in education.
Participants presented their research and reports on these fields.
The conference concluded with the development of proposals and recommendations to address existing challenges and improve practices in this field.
