An international scientific-practical conference titled “Issues of improving the theoretical and legal foundations of the state’s environmental function in the context of the development of New Uzbekistan” was held at Tashkent State University of Law

The conference, organized by the Department of Theory of State and Law at TSUL, was dedicated to the memory of Candidate of Legal Sciences and Professor M.K. Najimov. It brought together prominent legal scholars, experts, international guests, TSUL faculty members, as well as colleagues who had worked with the esteemed lawyer for many years, along with his family, students.

Speakers at the conference discussed the life and work of M.K. Najimov, highlighting his contributions to the development of Uzbek jurisprudence and the theoretical foundations of state and law.

The international conference also addressed legal issues and opportunities related to the clear delineation of the powers of state bodies and organizations in regulating environmental matters and improving their collaboration.

It was noted that the sustainable development of New Uzbekistan is directly linked to environmental security. The environmental function of the state encompasses activities aimed at protecting natural resources, safeguarding the environment, and ensuring ecological sustainability. Improving the theoretical and legal foundations of this function is crucial for the country’s ecological development.

During the conference, scholars and practitioners exchanged views on enhancing environmental monitoring using modern technologies and improving its effectiveness.

Additionally, the organizers announced that the conference participants’ presentations, along with articles and theses submitted by the scientific community, would be published as a collection.
