The “China – Central Asia” forum was held in the city of Xi’an, People’s Republic of China, on the topic “Deepening Intercivilizational Dialogue and Mutual Enrichment on the Path to Joint Development of Human Rights”.
This traditional event, organized by the China Foundation for Human Rights Development, brought together more than 60 participants from the People’s Republic of China and Central Asian countries, including representatives of relevant government bodies, experts and scholars, media representatives, human rights organizations, and leaders of public associations.
Representatives from our country also took part in the forum, including Professor Govkherjan Yuldasheva, from the Department of International Law and Human Rights at Tashkent State University of Law. She delivered a report on the topic “Human Rights Education as a Priority Direction in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan”.
During the discussions, special attention was given to topics such as “Diversity of Civilizations, the System of Asian Values, and Global Governance in the Field of Human Rights,” and “Jointly Building a Community of Shared Destiny and Promoting the Development of Human Rights”.
