International conference on mediation has been conducted at Tashkent State University of Law

The conference, organized by the Department of Civil Procedural and Economic Procedural Law of Tashkent State University of Law with the participation of Professor of the University of Georgia Grigol Robakidze, Doctor of Law of Tbilisi State University, international mediator and lawyer with 22 years of experience Irakli Kandashvili, was attended by the head of the department of the Center for Advanced Training of Lawyers, associate professor, professional mediator Sevarkhon Maripova, professors, teachers and students.

The conference discussed the development of the mediation institute in European countries, in particular in Georgia, best practices in this area, and the work being carried out to introduce mediation in Uzbekistan.

Lawyers, mediators and experts also exchanged views on the impact of mediation on the judicial system, the effectiveness and future prospects of alternative dispute resolution, the study of international experience in mediation, and the further development of this institute in Uzbekistan.
