The Sustainability Committee at Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) is dedicated to advancing sustainability in alignment with global standards and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The committee focuses on creating and implementing sustainability policies, promoting educational initiatives, and supporting research in this field. Additionally, it emphasizes reducing the university’s environmental footprint by adopting sustainable practices across campus operations, from waste reduction to energy efficiency. Engaging the community is also a priority, as the committee collaborates with local stakeholders and organizations to broaden TSUL's impact on sustainable development.

Our goal:
To integrate sustainable development into every aspect of Tashkent State University of Law by fostering a culture of environmental responsibility, enhancing sustainable practices in education and research, and building partnerships that advance the Sustainable Development Goals within our community and beyond.
Sustainability Committee of Tashkent State University of Law is one of the leading departments of the university with high scientific potential, conducting educational and research work in the field of environmental law, international environmental law, land law, agricultural law, energy law.
We study the legal solutions to global, regional and local environmental problems, analyze them, conduct research in the field of law related to natural resources, compare the legislation in this area with the legislation of developed countries, provide students with innovative forms and methods we aimed to deliver. Currently, we are cooperating in this direction with the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Landowners, other officials, non-governmental organizations, national and foreign universities.

Issues of ensuring environmental rights were discussed.

Our responsibilities:
To lead by example in promoting sustainability, ensuring that our policies, practices, and educational initiatives reflect a commitment to environmental stewardship. We are dedicated to reducing our ecological footprint, fostering awareness among students and staff, and collaborating with community and global partners to drive impactful, sustainable change.
We support the research work carried out at the university and performs a number of tasks.
We do:
- We study, conduct research and impart knowledge in the field of environmental law, international environmental law, land law, agricultural law, energy law;
- develop students' skills of comparative, analytical and logical thinking in the field of law related to natural resources;
- develop students' skills of practical application of legal norms in the field;
- provide opportunities for young people to learn and teach independently, to ensure the harmony of theory and practice.

Scientific potential
By the department in 2019-2021:
- 13 monographs;
- 100 scientific articles;
- Published articles in 10 Scopus.
- 9 republican scientific conferences and round tables were held.
Our programs and projects:
Sustainability Committee of Tashkent State University of Law there are scientific schools "Environmental Policy and Law" under the leadership of Fayziev Shuhrat Khasanovich and "Modern Eco-School" under the leadership of DSc., Associate Professor Narzullaev Olim Kholmamatovich.
There are also scientific circles such as "ECO-LAWYER", "ECOPARLIAMENT", "MAGNAT" to support students' research.
The main purpose of these scientific schools and clubs is to guide students and young researchers to science, to implement modern research projects, to preserve and develop traditional methods of scientific research in environmental law, land law, agricultural law, natural resource law.
Teaching staff:
Our teachers are constantly working on themselves, improving their skills and knowledge with foreign colleagues, sharing experiences.
Today, we have enrolled 3 DSc of law, 2 professor, 7 Ph.D, associate professors and 3 promising young teachers. We regularly organize master classes with the participation of lawyers and experts in the field in order to ensure the harmony of theory and practice in students.
Teachers of the department are the author of about 30 textbooks, more than 20 monographs, about 20 textbooks and manuals.
Also, 6 independent researchers will take part in the educational process.
