An event was organized to appoint the members of the Public Council under the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Based on the decision of this committee dated February 11, 2025, Shukhrat Fayziyev, Professor of the Department of Ecological Law of Tashkent State University of Law, Doctor of Law, was appointed as a member of the Public Council.
For information: The Public Council consists of representatives of state bodies, higher educational institutions and non-governmental non-profit organizations in the field of ecology. The Council assists the committee in carrying out various scientific and practical activities to improve its law-making, control and analytical activities and environmental legislative documents. The Public Council provides information to the general public on the activities of the parliament in the field of ecology.
