TSUL Vis Moot Summer School: summing up the results of the first classes and preparing for oral presentations

This year, TSUL Vis Moot received a record number of applications - more than 90 students expressed a desire to take part in the Summer School. The number of participants, in addition to TSUL students, also included students from Caspian University (Kazakhstan) and KazGUU University (Kazakhstan).

During two weeks of classes at the Summer School, lectures were held from participants of previous years of TSUL Vis Moot. Students delved into the work of institutional arbitration, studied the rules of procedure, the basics of the principles of UNIDROIT and the Convention on International Sales Contracts (CISG).

Based on these lectures, the participants successfully wrote and submitted plaintiff and defendant memoranda in the 30th Vis Moot of 2023.

Currently, students are preparing to defend their positions orally. The final hearings will take place from July 20 to 21.

Based on the results, 6 participants will be selected for the main and additional teams of TSUL Vis Moot.
