Awareness sessions dedicated to International Saiga Day have been held at TSUL
As you know, May 5 is celebrated as International Saiga Day in Uzbekistan.
In this regard, the Department of Environmental Law at Tashkent State University of Law organized various awareness sessions.
During these sessions, students were provided with information about the role of saigas in preserving biodiversity, the reasons for their inclusion in the Red Book, as well as issues of international cooperation in the field of saiga conservation.
It was noted that saigas are a species inhabiting the desert and steppe regions of Central Asia, and that cooperation is underway between the Republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for their protection.
