The current issues of evidence use in criminal proceedings were discussed
An international scientific and practical conference on "Current Issues of Evidence Use in Criminal Proceedings" was held at Tashkent State University of Law. The international conference, organised in collaboration with the University of Helsinki, saw participation from representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Military Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Lawyers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy, the Authorized Representative of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Children's Rights (Children's Ombudsman), as well as faculty members from the Academy of Law Enforcement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy, the University of Public Security, Tashkent State University of Law, and foreign universities.
The conference analyzed issues arising in the collection of evidence in criminal proceedings, the gathering and evaluation of electronic evidence, the requirements for evidence, and the challenges faced during these processes.
