A delegation from TSUL completed a training program at the University of Zagreb in Croatia
The delegation from TSUL included Bekzod Musaev, Dean of the Faculty of Private Law; Ikhtiyor Bekov, Head of the Department of Constitutional Law; Dildora Bazarova, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure Law; and Bakhtiyor Khidoyatov, Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure Law.
During the training program, the delegation held a series of meetings with the representatives of the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb. As a result of these discussions, they learned about the academic programs and modern educational methodologies of the University of Zagreb. Important agreements were reached regarding establishing cooperation with research centers, organizing international conferences, scientific publications, and student exchange programs.
As part of the training, the delegation studied the operation of the "PRELAB HORIZON-MSCA-2022-SE" project. Members of the delegation participated in scientific and practical conferences and visited the Constitutional Court of Croatia.
Important agreements were also reached on cooperation in education and research with the Croatian Institute for Migration and the professors of the Department of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb.
Following the visit, it was planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation between TSUL, the University of Zagreb, and the Croatian Institute for Migration, as well as to establish mechanisms for ongoing collaboration.
For reference: Tashkent State University of Law participated as a partner organization in the European Union's research and innovation project HORIZON-MSCA-2022-SE-01 "Precarious Labour in Asia: Exploring Challenges and Solution to Labour Insecurity through Case-Study-Based Evidence from 8 Asian Countries (Project 101129940 — PRELAB)" together with a number of educational and research institutions in the EU — University of Latvia (Latvia), Dublin City University (Ireland), Universitatea din Bucuresti (Romania), Partnere ne zgjidhje dhe zhvillim (Albania), Sveuciliste u Zagrebu (Croatia), Universitat Bremen (Germany), Universiteit Antwerpen (Belgium).
