The delegation of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) visited Tashkent State University of Law

During the visit, the guests for the first time got acquainted with the activities of the Information Resource Center of TSUL. Members of the delegation received information about the fund of the Information Resource Center, scientific literature, opportunities for students to use the library, the library's work order, and international electronic databases.

Besides, the guests visited the educational and methodological department (registrar's office) of the university, where they got acquainted with the process of working, services and opportunities created for students.

In addition, a tour of the university was organized for members of the delegation.

At the end, a meeting of representatives of TSUL with members of the delegation was organized.

The meeting was attended by Bakhshillo Khodjaev, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at TSUL, Bobur Uzakov, Chief Specialist of the International Relations Department, Mamed Askerov, USAID Democracy and Governance Project Management Specialist, Faye Haselkorn, USAID Democracy and Governance Office Director, and Jamshed Luberi, USAID Executive Office Director.

The meeting discussed issues of assistance to TSUL in the process of international institutional accreditation according to QAA standards, providing financial support in attracting experts in this process, organizing training seminars and conferences, facilitating the establishment of cooperation with leading universities in the USA, Great Britain and the European Union for the implementation of double-degree programs, in particular , organizing official trips of TSUL delegations, sending teachers and staff of TSUL to these universities for internships, as well as providing financial support in the process of organizing international scientific conferences, training seminars, round tables discussions, summer and winter schools as part of internships for doctoral students, independent researchers, attracting leading professors and specialists from the United States to teach at TSUL in full-time and distance formats. An agreement was reached on the issues discussed at the meeting.
