Human Rights Week ended with a round table discussion on human rights and the rights of young people in Uzbekistan: international standards and foreign experience

Human Rights Week was held at Tashkent State University of Law in order to meet the objectives set by the Presidential Decree on the adoption of the National Human Rights Education Programme in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As part of the week, at the initiative of the International and Comparative Legislation Faculty and the International Law and Human Rights Department, a round table discussion was organized on human rights and the rights of young people in Uzbekistan: international standards and foreign experience.

The event discussed the national human rights education program in the Republic of Uzbekistan, theoretical and practical problems of digital human rights, the international responsibility of the State for human rights violations, the protection of the rights of migrant workers, human rights and freedoms at the constitutional level.

Students of Tashkent State University of Law also made presentations at the round table discussion.

In the end, the students were awarded commemorative certificates, also the organizers of Human Rights Week at Tashkent State University of Law were awarded letters of gratitude on behalf of the National Human Rights Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
