A delegation from Tashkent State University of Law, including Professor of the Department of International Private Law and Head of the Legal Clinic Otabek Narziyev, Associate Professor of the Department of General Education and Culture Dilfuza Jumaniyazova, and Senior Lecturer of the Department of General Education and Culture Shokhjakhon Tashpulatov, visited the University of Regensburg in the Federal Republic of Germany.
During the visit, several scientific meetings were held with researchers and graduate students of the University of Regensburg as part of the grant project “Establishing the Activities of a Legal Clinic to Address the Issues of Youth from Socially At-Risk Groups.”
The delegation also became acquainted with the activities of the Legal Clinic at the University of Regensburg and participated in a scientific seminar hosted by the clinic's director, Professor Alexander Grazer from the Faculty of Law. The event focused on discussions regarding mutual cooperation within the framework of the legal clinic’s activities aimed at addressing the issues faced by socially at-risk youth.
As part of the visit, a roundtable was organized with representatives of the research group "Legal Transfer and Legal Development in Central Asia," including Professor Manuchehr Kudratov, where ideas were exchanged on improving youth-related legislation.
Additionally, representatives of TSUL delegation visited the Faculty of Law and the Library of Ludwig Maximilian University, the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy, and the Central Library of Bavaria. They reviewed literature and research related to the grant project.
Furthermore, the visit allowed for the study of Germany’s experience in working with socially at-risk youth.
