TSUL teachers were awarded letters of gratitude from the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the Chairman of the Central Election Commission

  For activities as part of the information and analytical expert group under the Constitutional Commission for the development of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan in a new edition and contribution to information and analytical support for the preparation and conduct of elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the following teachers of the Tashkent State Law University were awarded letters of gratitude from the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the Chairman Central Election Commission:

TSUL professors and teachers, as legal specialists, have been actively participating in the provision of legal information in a number of areas of society. Regarding economic topics and climate change issues:

The team of TSUL participated in the forum "Youth of Uzbekistan against Climate Change"

The Forum "Youth of Uzbekistan against Climate Change" was conducted in "Yoshlar ijod saroyi" in Tashkent under the support of the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Council of Young Farmers of Uzbekistan, and the Global Environment Facility Small grants in Uzbekistan.

The forum was attended by S. Avazov, a student of Master's program and Extramural Education faculty of Tashkent State University of Law, specialists from the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, and the university staff.

At the conference, young people had the opportunity to listen to the ideas of their peers and talk openly with experts in the field.

The international conference discussed issues related to the role and importance of the "green climate" in ensuring food security

On the initiative of the Environmental Law Department of Tashkent State University of Law organized the international scientific-practical conference "Green climate and legal issues of quality and food safety".

The international conference was attended by members of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the UN Development Program Office in Uzbekistan, the Office of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization in Uzbekistan, the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea Agency, the Central Asian Regional Environmental Center, Environmental Party of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Committee on Veterinary and Livestock Development under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Forestry Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, Environment Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Specialists and staff of Plant Protection Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professors, doctoral students, and independent researchers from higher education institutions in the United States, Russian Federation, Poland, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, National University of Uzbekistan, Karakalpak State University, University of Public Security, The Customs Institute, Tashkent State University of Economics, Tashkent State Agrarian University, National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Engineers of Irrigation and Mechanization of Agriculture," Termez State University, and Tashkent State University of Law.

The conference discussed such issues as the place and role of the "green climate" in ensuring food security, the prevention of climate threats and mitigation of their consequences while ensuring a "green climate", the current state and development of climate legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the scientific and legal basis of the "green climate" and its financing, the activities of international organizations in ensuring food security, the state and prospects of legislation development in the field of food security and food safety.

Also, information on the "green climate" and the experience of foreign countries (using the example of EU countries, USA, CIS) to ensure the quality and safety of food products was presented.

During the international conference, proposals and recommendations were developed to improve the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to ensure a "green climate", food quality and safety in terms of sustainable development.

Сonducted an international scientific-practical conference on "Topical issues for improving the legal norms on the mitigation and elimination of the consequences of climate change in Uzbekistan"

The international conference, which was attended by national and foreign specialists, professors, and representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, heard the views of experts and made several proposals and recommendations on the topic.

A seminar-training on the topic "Personal growth and financial literacy" was organized at TSUL

The training, organized for women of universities at the initiative of the Women's Council of Tashkent State University of Law, will be conducted by experienced specialists Dilrabo Egamova, Shakhida Ibragimova and Maftuna Arabbaeva.

During the training, participants will be provided with useful information on the following topics: “Promotion of a personal brand in social networks”, “Is financial literacy necessary?” and "Identifying skills and the income behind them."

The training seminar will take place on May 18 at 13:30 (Information and Resource Center). All employees, teachers, as well as students can take part in it.

Admission to the special course on “Financial Security” has started

Classes will be taught by professors from the departments of criminal law, criminology and anti-corruption, and criminal procedure law. The course will cover such topics as general concepts of anti-money laundering and terrorism financing, criminal liability for money laundering and terrorism financing, legal regulation of electronic money and cryptocurrencies, international and national systems of anti-money laundering and terrorism financing.

Besides, according to the results of the course, the participants will have an opportunity to take part in the International Financial Security Olympiad, as well as to enter the Master's program of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia in this field.

The team of TSULtakes part in the III International Olympic Games and is financially secure

In the Russian city of Sochi, the III International Olympic Games for financial security will take place.

More than 500 students and schoolchildren from 19 countries took part in the Olympics, as well as 10 talented students from our higher education institutions in the fields of "Economics, financial credit and economic security", "International relations", "Information security" and "Jurisprudence".

In the Olympics, the goal of which is to increase the informational, financial and legal literacy of the young generation, to search for talented youth, to stimulate educational-practical and scientific-research activities in the sphere of financial security, and also to form youth knowledge and skills in a new format. Khazratali Kudratillaev, professor of the criminal-procedural law department of the legal university, and Asadbek Abdurakhmanov, a 4th-year student of criminal law.

In the framework of the International Olympiad, the exhibition "Education and career" was organized, and an information stand was presented at the Tashkent State Law University.

TSUL will host the conference "Legal technologies, education and digital transformation of law"

The conference, organized within the framework of the International Day of Cyber Law by Tashkent State University of Law together with Ankara University named after Yildirim Beyazit and the Center for Legal Studies of Turkiye-Uzbekistan with the support of USAID, will discuss the relationship between law and digitalization, all aspects of innovative education and research activities in this direction, the creation of an industry and cooperation in law and digitalization.

The conference will be held on February 20-21 at Tashkent State University of Law.

Researchers in the field of law, information technology and social sciences can take part in it with reports and articles.

The materials received at the conference will undergo a peer review, the accepted articles will be published in the journals Uzbek Law Review (HAC) and Cyber Law Review. Conference proceedings will be published in Turkish, Uzbek, English and Russian.

An international scientific and practical conference was held on the theme "LIBWAY - 2023: science, technology and information in libraries", dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
