An international scientific and practical conference on the topic “International Humanitarian Law: Contemporary Problems and Development Prospects” was held at the MITSO International University.
As part of the international conference, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the “Best Essay” contest.
In the contest, held among university students of law, economic, environmental and military fields, participants were asked to write an essay on the topic “International Humanitarian Law: History and Modernity.”
In total, 31 creative works were accepted for the contest from students of universities in the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan, as well as higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
A 3rd-year student of TSUL, Vazira Ergashova, who took part in this competition under the scientific guidance of Shokhrukhbek Tillaboev, a teacher at the Department of International Law and Human Rights of TSUL, wrote an essay on the topic “The role of international organizations in guaranteeing compliance with international humanitarian law” and took 3rd place.
