Сooperation between TSUL and La Sapienza University of Rome

A meeting between representatives of Tashkent State University of Law and La Sapienza University of Rome was organized with the support of USAID LRP.

The meeting, organized within the framework of the visit of Tashkent State University of Law to the Republic of Italy was attended by the rector of Tashkent State University of Law Akbar Tashkulov, the representatives of the University of Law, the Vice-rector for international activities, and internationalization of La Sapienza University of Rome, Professor Bruno Botta, dean of the faculty of law, Professor O.Diliberto, head of international agreements department Giovanni Maria Vianello and other representatives of the university.

As part of the visit, the participants were introduced to the activities, structure, and educational and scientific processes of La Sapienza University of Rome.

They also discussed the signing of a framework cooperation agreement between La Sapienza University of Rome (with the faculty of law) and TSUL, as well as the Erasmus+ cooperation agreement, and reached an agreement on these matters.

Moreover, the parties have exchanged views on the implementation of academic mobility programs for students, training programs for faculty, and administrative staff for professional development.

For reference: La Sapienza University of Rome is one of the oldest universities in the world, founded in 1303 by Pope Boniface VIII. It is considered one of the best universities in Europe and regularly takes first place in ratings of higher educational institutions in Italy and southern Europe. The University is the largest in terms of the number of full-time students and ranks first among Italian universities in terms of internationalization.

More than 10 Nobel Prize winners are graduates of La Sapienza University of Rome.

The university is ranked 202nd in QS World University Rankings.
