Awareness sessions held at Tashkent State University of Law under the motto “Protect our plant and animal life”
As you know, according to item 4 of the calendar of events dedicated to important dates related to ecology, environmental protection, and climate change—approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 31, 2023—May 22 has been declared Biodiversity Conservation Day in Uzbekistan.
In connection with this, the Department of Environmental Law at Tashkent State University of Law organized awareness sessions for graduate students and part-time students under the motto “Protect Our Plant and Animal Life.”
During these sessions, students were informed about the measures Uzbekistan is taking to preserve biodiversity, recent changes in environmental legislation, and the legal responsibilities related to damage caused to nature.
