TSUL will hold a round table discussion devoted to the role of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the Constitutional reforms of New Uzbekistan

As you know, the "Program of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights" was approved by the Presidential Decree "On the broad celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights" dated May 12, 2023.

To fulfill the tasks defined in paragraph 16 of this program, the International Law and Human Rights Department of Tashkent State University of Law is organizing the international round table discussion on "The role of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the constitutional reforms of the New Uzbekistan: the experience of Central Asia and the European Union".

The conference, which will be held in the hybrid format from 14:00 on June 21 (conference hall, building 1, Tashkent State University of Law), will bring together representatives of the National Human Rights Center of Uzbekistan, professors and lecturers of Tashkent State University of Law, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Brunel University of London, Karaganda University named after Academician Buketov, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.

After the end of the round table discussion, a collection of materials will be published. Those who wish to publish their scientific materials in the collection can send their articles and abstracts to Shohruhbek Tillaboyev (@shohruh_tm), a lecturer at the International Law and Human Rights Department. Scientific materials are accepted until June 23.
