The session, organized at Tashkent Region Law College, was conducted by Amy Wallace, Street Law Inc. Amy Wallace and Street Law Project assistant, Kamilla Dalabaeva.
As part of the training, students were provided with information about rights and responsibilities, law enforcement practices, its implementation mechanism, as well as the importance of the Street Law Project, its role in the world, and useful aspects of the project for volunteers.
At the same time, the volunteers were given recommendations and advice on how to use interactive methods in training, to find solutions to problematic situations on this basis, and to involve the students more extensively in the project.
In the afternoon, there was a training for the directors of law colleges of the Ministry of Justice.
It was devoted to the organization of the lessons and practical sessions, creation of training plans, the requirements set by the employers to the graduates, preparation of qualified personnel for the labor market.
Also, an expert from Street Law Inc. Amy Wallace spoke about legal training in the U.S. and the requirements for them, the process of improving knowledge and skills.
During the training seminar the participants received answers to their questions.
