On the occasion of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language, the republican contest "May your native language be valuable!" was held.
Shukhrat Kuchimov, professor of the Uzbek language and literature department of Tashkent State University of Law, doctor of philological sciences, was awarded an honorary diploma of this contest for his contribution to the introduction of new terms included in the Uzbek language in legal documents.
