PUBLIC RESOURCES (LIFELONG LEARNING)

Our university provides access to all educational resources for those who do not study at the University: computers, library, online resources, access to lectures etc.

One of the key organizational divisions at Tashkent State Administrative University is the information and resource center. The information resource center collaborates with the university to achieve its objectives of the training of highly trained specialists by actively participating in continuous educational activities, scientific research, and spiritual-educational processes.

The Information Resource Center:

The Tashkent State Law institution has a unique structure called the Information Resource Center. It assists the institution in reaching ambitious educational objectives and spans all domains of endeavor, including intellectual, spiritual, and scientific advancement. actively engages in delivering In collaboration with academics, instructors, and other research groups, we offer creative and programmatic support for the educational and research processes.

Currently, this center houses a collection of the following legal texts and primary scientific literature:

·      Course book more than 100,000

·      Scientific books are about 100,000

·      And other literature 100,000

The list of these books is expanding every year due to new foreign and national literature. The process of forming the fund is carried out according to a strategic plan, taking into account the university's educational directions and ongoing research.

The Information Resource Center provides bibliographic and informational services to students, professors and teachers, university researchers and general readers. In order to develop the field of jurisprudence, the Information Resource Center has access to world-class scientific and educational databases: Westlaw, LexisNexis, Springer. Web of Science, Scopus, Polpred.com. negotiations are underway to conclude a contract with the legal database.

As an illustration, in 2023 Nodir Zakirov, a specialist in anti-corruption for the World Bank and the United States, gave 12 copies of international and regional legal scientific literature to the TSUL Information Resource Center. Researchers and students can learn about the American legal system, criminal law, the theoretical underpinnings of scientific research, and legal education technique through these works of literature. In order to provide readers with information about literature and create ease of use, an electronic catalog was created based on the ARMAT ++ electronic program, and the university has an electronic library on the website library.tsul.uz and an official channel on the Telegram social network. https://t.me/tsullibrary.

Since 2019, the Information Resource Center is a member of the International Association of University Libraries (Dusseldorf, Germany).

In order to promote reading and increase spirituality among young people, a competition is held annually among the "Eng faol kitobhon guruh" ("The most active group of readers", team members are recruited according to courses), and together with the primary organization of the Youth Union, a monthly competition "Zukko kitobhon" ("Resourceful reader").

The IRC telegram channel hosts a weekly quiz "Tafakkur".
