The Central Asian Jessup Moot Summer School took place at Tashkent State University of Law.
As you know, the summer school was organized at Tashkent State University of Law to prepare students and coaches for participation in the competition, strengthen inter-university and inter-student relations, and promote international public law in Central Asian countries. Fourteen teams from universities in the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, and Georgia participated.
During the sessions, conducted by highly qualified specialists in international public law, topics such as an introduction to the sources of international law, international responsibility, interpretation of international treaties, and many other issues were discussed.
Additionally, during the summer school, teams were divided into small groups and presented their arguments as "Plaintiffs" and "Defendants" before the competition judges on cases related to the recognition of election results, human rights, and maritime law.
At the end of the summer school, all participants were awarded certificates.
