A study room named after professor Alisher Azizkhodzhaev has been established at TSUL
Tashkent State University of Law hosted an international scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of the science of constitutional law in new Uzbekistan".
The international conference, organized on the initiative of the department of Constitutional Law of TSUL in memory of Doctor of Law, professor Alisher Azizkhodjaev, was attended by representatives of TSUL, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, University of World Economy and Diplomacy, University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Centre for Advanced Training of Lawyers, Higher School of Judges at the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the University of Birmingham (UK), Indian Christ University and other institutions of higher education.
The international conference began with warm memories of professor Alisher Azizkhodzhaev. Colleagues, students, friends and relatives shared stories about his life, scientific contribution, professional achievements and personal qualities. Also a documentary movie was shown in memory of the professor.
In honor of Alisher Azizkhodzhaev, the opening of the named study hall was held within the framework of the conference. The participants of the event were able to see the exposition of photos dedicated to the life and activity of the professor.
The scientific part of the conference continued with presentations by the teaching and research staff of higher educational institutions of our country. Professor Chris Thornhill from the University of Birmingham, UK, professor Evgeny Sultanov from Kazan Federal University of the Russian Federation, associate professor Prabhrit Singh of India's Christ University made presentations on topical issues of constitutional law.
As a result of the international conference, the participants formulated proposals and recommendations for solving urgent problems in this area.
