Chamber of Lawyers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Criminal Justice Faculty of Tashkent State University of Law, and the department of court, law enforcement and advocacy organized an open lecture with the participation of the representative of the German Bar Association.
Veronika Hohrer, Director for international legal cooperation of the German Bar Association held a lecture on "Regulation of the market of legal services and legal professions: on the example of Germany, Great Britain, Poland, and Slovakia".
During her open lecture, the German expert spoke about international experience in the legal profession.
The students showed great interest in foreign experience in the sphere of a bar, bar activities in developed countries, activities of advocates' self-governing bodies, and areas where advocates render services.
During the lecture, held in the form of open dialogue, the students received answers to their questions from a foreign expert.
The lecture concluded with a discussion on possibilities for cooperation between Tashkent State University of Law and the German Bar Association.
