A webinar on "Fundamentals of Scopus and Web of Science and problems of self-publishing" will be organized at TSUL

Specialists of the international company "Scientific Publications" of Kazakhstan will also participate in the webinar organized by the initiative of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at Tashkent State University of Law.

The following issues will be discussed in the exercise organized in order to improve knowledge in the field of scientific and metrical fields and to increase the scientific potential of the university:

1) Scopus database: its characteristics and main indicators;
2) Working principles of Web of Science. Web of Science Core Collection as the core of the scientific-metric database;
3) the main problems that scientists may face when planning to publish in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases;
4) The issue of self-publishing.

During the webinar, the participants can get answers to the questions they are interested in.
