Editorial and publishing department
About the department

The Editorial and Publishing Department of TSUL operates in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 29, 2020, No. UP-5987, “On Additional Measures for the Fundamental Improvement of Legal Education and Science in the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

The department is a structural subdivision of the university and carries out the preparation and publication of scientific, scientific-methodological, popular science, educational, educational-methodological, and other materials, as well as periodicals of the university, prepared by professors, teachers, staff, doctoral students, independent researchers, masters, undergraduate students and other persons.

The organizational structure of the Editorial and Publishing Department consists of editorial staff, the Periodicals Sector, and the Printing Sector.

The Periodicals Sector operates the scientific journals founded by Tashkent State University of Law, including “Review of Law Sciences,” “Jurisprudence,” “Criminology and Criminal Justice,” “Analysis of Legislation of Uzbekistan,” and “TSUL Legal Report.” Article submissions to these journals are carried out through a single platform, www.e-researcher.uz. In this case, the authors submit the article through the platform. Submitted articles are reviewed through the corresponding email addresses of each journal. Based on the journal’s requirements, the level of plagiarism, and the results of expert review, response letters are sent to the authors.

The Printing Sector carries out printing of educational and scientific literature and periodicals prepared by the Editorial and Publishing Department.

Over the past 3 years, the Editorial and Publishing Department of the Tashkent State University of Law has published more than 300 textbooks and teaching manuals, more than 50 monographs, and other educational and scientific literature.

Currently, the Editorial and Publishing Department offers the following publishing services on a contractual basis:

1. Editing and Proofreading Services

Highly qualified editors and proofreaders of the Editorial and Publishing Department provide editing services for texts in Uzbek, Russian, and English. In this case, educational and scientific literature, dissertations, and abstracts are edited in accordance with the established requirements.

2. Typesetting Services

The technical editors of the Editorial and Publishing Department provide services in preparing the original layout of educational and scientific materials for publication, as well as in the layout of dissertations and abstracts of researchers in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission.

3. Cover Design and Graphic Design Services

The service of designers of the Editorial and Publishing Department can be used in the design of covers for educational and scientific books in the development of materials for various events and exhibitions.

4. Printing Services

Services are provided for printing original layouts of educational and scientific literature prepared for printing in the prescribed manner and printing various visual materials in small formats A3, A4, A5, and others in color and black-and-white formats.
