A Sustainability Management Office is typically an organizational unit within a university, business, or government agency dedicated to coordinating and implementing sustainability initiatives. Its primary purpose is to ensure that sustainability goals are integrated into the institution's core activities, aligning with environmental, social, and economic goals for long-term impact.

Key responsibilities often include:
Policy Development.
Establishing and overseeing policies related to sustainability practices, such as waste reduction, resource management, and carbon footprint reduction.
Project Coordination.
Managing sustainability projects and initiatives, including energy efficiency, water conservation, recycling programs, and green campus initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement.
Working with students, staff, faculty, and external partners to foster a culture of sustainability. This might include organizing events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
Data Collection and Reporting.
Gathering data on environmental impact and sustainability efforts to report progress, often aligning with sustainability frameworks like the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Training and Education.
Providing resources and training to educate the community on sustainability issues and best practices.
Compliance and Certification.
Ensuring adherence to relevant environmental laws and standards, such as ISO certifications, and maintaining the institution’s eligibility for sustainability-related awards or grants.
We aim to carry out exploitation and restoration in educational and student dormitories, current and capital repairs, power supply and maintenance of buildings, thereby creating favorable conditions for faculty, staff and students at our university.
In 2020, the current repair work was carried out in the classrooms and corridors of the educational building of Tashkent State University of Law.
The heating systems of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd educational buildings are regularly serviced by modern fennel and heat exchanger equipment in the autumn-winter period.
Landscaping, maintenance, clean lining and improving the conditions for the educational process is being done on a daily basis at the University.
The corridors of the 1st and 2nd dormitories were repaired, the bathroom and washrooms were renovated in a modern design. In order to spend the autumn-winter season in the dormitories safely4 Grizzly 150 kilo. small heating boilers are installed.
In addition, fountains have been set up in the dormitories to provide students with an enjoyable rest after classes during the spring and summer seasons, and modern night lighting has been installed around the building.
Prophylactic repairs of nodes in hot and cold-water systems were carried out in educational and student dormitories.
1st and 3rd academic and student dormitory roofs with chemical liquids were processed to reduce the flammability of wood-burning wood appliances and inspected by fire service personnel in the prescribed manner and formalized in the relevant act.
The resistance of all internal and external electrical systems (cables, electric wires, shields) in the university buildings were tested in the laboratory.
Review of the technical condition of vehicles belonging to the University, issuance of road permits and use of vehicles and following traffic rules.
Sustainability action plan

Ikhtiyorjon Bozarov leads the Department of Operation and Repair at Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL). He oversees maintenance operations, ensuring the university’s infrastructure remains functional and safe. His team is responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of facilities across the campus. Under his direction, the department works to enhance campus sustainability by implementing energy-efficient practices in repair and maintenance projects.
