Inha University in Tashkent hosted "TESOL - 2022", a regional conference organized by the TESOL International Association, the US Embassy in Tashkent, and the American Council for International Education.
Five hundred and twenty-four educators from over 20 countries attended the international conference.
Qualified teachers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan participated in the conference. Umida Khaidarova, senior lecturer of the Foreign Languages Department of the Tashkent State University of Law, took part in the conference.
The four-day conference provided a forum for TESOL members from around the world to discuss and exchange modern teaching methods and pedagogical approaches to teaching English as a foreign language.
Umida Khaidarova's report "Concerns of using EMI in teaching process: student voice" was presented at the regional conference and she was awarded the certificate.
