TSUL team - prize-winner of the "Children's Rights Moot Court 2023" competition

The oral rounds of the "Children's Rights Moot Court 2023" competition have been completed.

36 teams took part in the international online competition.

In the prestigious competition, which is organized by Leiden University School of Law in cooperation with Baker McKenzie law firm every two years, a team of students from Tashkent State University of Law represented by Zukhra Abdurashidova, Sevarabonu Bekkulbekova, Sarvarbek Abduazizov, and Rano Abdunaimova participated on behalf of Uzbekistan.

The team, coached by Khumoyun Soyipov and Asal Zhuraeva, lecturers of the Department of Administrative and Financial Law of TSUL, competed in the qualifying round against the Brunel University London, two teams from India and Pakistan, while in the quarter-finals the team from Africa won the final by beating another Indian team in the semi-finals.

In the final round, the TSUL team competed against the University of Pretoria team from South Africa for 2nd place.
