The Legal Clinic under the Tashkent State Law University operates in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and laws, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions, orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions  the Cabinet of Ministers, resolutions and decrees of the collegium of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher Education and secondary special education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the university’s charter, resolution of the Kengash of the University and of orders of the rector of the University, as well as the position of the Legal Clinic(inccorect).

The legal clinic is being an integral part of the university, carries out activities to combine theoretical knowledge with practice, the development of practical skills among students, as well as conducting free legal advice to individuals and legal entities.

The main purpose of the Legal Clinic is the formation and development of practical skills of students, as well as the improvement of the legal culture and legal awareness of citizens.

The main task of the Legal Clinic is to combine theoretical knowledge with practice in cooperation with government and economic management bodies, courts and law enforcement agencies, the advocacy and other organizations; provision of free legal assistance; increasing the level of professional training in the legal sphere by building skills in handling appeals from individuals and legal entities; introduction of materials related to the activities of the Legal Clinic.
