Hakimov Rahim Rasuljonovich

Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Rector of Tashkent State University of Law

 Hakimov Rahim Rasuljonovich was born in 1983 in Namangan region. He graduated from Namangan State University in 2003, Tashkent State Law University in 2005. He is a lawyer, associate professor and has a PhD in law

 He started his career in 2005 as a leading researcher at the Institute for Monitoring Current Legislation under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 He worked as an associate professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tax Academy. He was the chief researcher, the group leader and head of the department at this institute.

 In 2015, he was elected as a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 From 2015 to 2017, he was a member of the Committee on Defense and Security Affairs, from 2017 - Director of the Institute for Legislative Problems and Parliamentary Studies at the Parliament (on a public basis), and from 2018 - Chairman of the Committee on Defense and Security.

He has published three monographs, 24 scientific manuals and 200 scientific articles on "Parliament in the state system: problems of theory and practice", "Improving the legal mechanisms of balancing the branches of state" on the issues of lawmaking and law enforcement practice. 

He has made a number of initiatives on the preparation of draft laws aimed at improving the socio-political reforms in the country, improving the system of state and public construction, parliamentary activities and the rule-making process.

 Since September 19, 2019 he has been working as the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the Rector of Tashkent State University of Law.
