Effective cooperation with foreign law universities and their international associations is an important factor in improving the quality of higher legal education. In this regard, the Decree of the President dated April 29 of this year No-5987 “On additional measures to radically improve legal education and science in the Republic of Uzbekistan” entrusted Tashkent State University of Law with important tasks in bringing national legal education and science to the international level, increase their competitiveness.

As part of this task, TSUL became a full member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), the International Association of Law Schools (IALS) and the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA).

The International Association of Universities unites more than 650 prestigious universities in 130 countries. As an official partner of UNESCO, this association pays special attention to the development of cooperation between its members and the application of new knowledge and innovations in the educational process. It should be noted that Tashkent State University of Law is the only university in the country accepted into this organization.

The International Association of Law Schools is an organization that unites more than 155 law universities and law schools from 55 countries. The main objective of the association is to improve the activities of law schools and improve the system of legal education in the world. The organization represents the interests of more than 4,500 law teachers around the world.

IALS member meetings define global legal education goals and strategies. Within the framework of the global forum, heads of law schools and faculties exchange opinions and experiences.

European Law Faculties Association is a prestigious international organization with more than 150 members, which was created as a platform for discussion and exchange in order to improve the quality of legal education in Europe. The main activities of the Association are the coordination of the reform of legal education, the development of new standards, the development of cooperation between universities, as well as with research institutions, judicial and law enforcement agencies, employers.

Joining these associations will allow Tashkent State University of Law to bring legal education and science to the international level, apply the best international practices, effectively implement the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), improve curricula, and activate scientific and innovative research, as well as enter the list of the best universities in the world according to international ratings.
