Tashkent State University of Law held a republican educational-practical seminar entitled ‘Crucial Issues of Teaching English as a Foreign Language: Effective Techniques’

The Language Training Department of Tashkent State University of Law held a republican educational-practical seminar entitled ‘Crucial Issues of Teaching English as a Foreign Language: Effective Techniques’ on January 31, 2018.

A welcoming speech was delivered by the deputy minister of Justice - rector Esemurat Kanyazov highlighting the actual issues and application of foreign language teaching at TSUL.

International and local guest speakers of the event were from the US embassy in Tashkent as Kirsten Michener - Cultural affairs officer, Elise Brittain - English language fellow, Peter Barsoum – English language fellow, Nodira Melibaeva – Public affairs officer.

         The workshop presentations focused on ‘responding to student writing with corrective feedback’, ‘Detailed and descriptive writing’ and ‘Opportunities for professional development of English teachers’.
