Seminar and masterclass in the form of a fictitious trial based on Criminal and Criminal-procedure Law of Germany
On March 13-14, 2018, a seminar and a masterclass were held in the form of a fictitious trial based on Criminal and Criminal-procedure Law of Germany with the assistance of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).
During the seminar a professor of the University of Passau, Dr. Michael Tsambikakis and a teacher for interns-lawyers in the field of criminal law, Ursus Körner von Gustorf, made presentations on the topics: "Foundations of Criminal and Criminal-procedure Law of Germany", "The tasks and role of a lawyer in a criminal trial ".
These lectures were aimed at preparing students for a fictitious trial based on the criminal and criminal procedural law of Germany.
At the end of the masterclass, a discussion was held, during which students and faculty of TSUL discussed the process of the trial.
