Online itinerant trial session
Department for Court, Law Enforcement Agencies and Advocacy has conducted online itinerant trial session within the ‘Advocacy’ module
A third year students of ‘A’ stream of the Faculty of Criminal Justice participated in that session which is aimed at integrating a theory with praxis. Trial chaired by Yakkasaroy District court judge Temur Kasymov which heard the case on the Article 177 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Assistant-prosecutor Sirojiddin Xasanboev represented state accusation while Abduvakhob Turaev represented the defendant in a trail. The trial convicted defendant with the restriction of liberty.
Students have obtained practical information and observed online how the defence council works.
