Department of Criminal Procedural Law and Criminalistics with the collaboration of Department of Commercialization Scientific-Innovative projects and 3rd year Dean’s office announces competition for 3rd year students on “Criminal Moot Court Process”. The 3rd year students are eligible for participating in this competition. Students who would like to take part should submit an application until November 18, 2019 (with signature of group leader and dean as well as affirmation with the stamp of dean’s office) to the Department of Procedural Law and Criminalistics or submit it via telegram (Sent the application to @bax555). List of team members should be attached to the application form.
The competition projects will be assessed by two criteria:
1. Procedural documents that prepared by the group members on court process.
The package of documents should be contained at least followings:
- short gist of the case;
- indictment on initiation of a criminal case;
- protocol of court session;
2. Video tape of a court trial.
Criminal Case Documents and Video tape of a court trial will be accepted in the Department of Criminal Procedural Law and Criminalistics (responsible officials Kh.Mamatkulova, U.Rakhimova, B.Khudaybergenov) from 19th November to 30th November, 5 PM (+GMT 5). Late submissions of video tapes and criminal case documents are not accepted.
Projects are assessed in two stages.
In the first stage, procedural acts are assessed. Five teams with the highest score are proceed to the next stage of the competition.
In the next stage, jury will assess the video tapes of those 5 qualified teams and determines the winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place).

Winners will be awarded with:
1st place - certificate and pecuniary award in the amount of 10 times of minimum wage.
2nd place - Certificate and pecuniary award in the amount of 8 times of minimum wage.
3rd place - certificate and pecuniary award in the amount of 6 times of minimum wage.
