Education at university

Training foreign citizens at Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) is carried out on the basis of the Regulations on the procedure for admission and training of foreign citizens in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The admission of foreign citizens to the TSUL is carried out on the basis of:

International treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

Collective and individual contracts and contracts (including with foreign citizens who arrived in the republic on valid visas, regardless of the purposes of their arrival) who undergo preliminary examination and registration in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 Foreign citizens who have education corresponding to general average or average special, vocational education can be accepted to TSUL.

Foreign citizens are admitted to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan on a fee-contract basis and in the order established for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The cost of training on a fee-contract basis in the TSUL is established by the State commission for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of the proposal of the Ministry of higher and secondary specialized education in coordination with the Ministry of finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other ministries and departments that have educational institutions.

Foreign citizens are required to submit the following documents for admission to study at TSUL:

• application for admission to study;

• originals and notarized copies of documents on education, indicating the subjects studied and the grades (points) received on them in examinations;

• a medical report on the state of health;

• national passport (with valid visa) or birth certificate;

• 6 photos of size 4 x 6.

The order of submission and consideration of documents is determined by the instruction approved by the Ministry of higher and secondary specialized education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Foreign students in TSUL are entitled to:

participation in the research work of the departments, student scientific societies and circles;

use of libraries, sports complexes, clubs and palaces of culture of educational institutions;

participation in organized recreation.

foreign students in TSUL are obliged:

to follow the ethical rules of the TSUL;

to follow discipline, attend classes, perform all types of educational and production work, provided for by curricula and programs, take exams and tests on time;

To comply with the internal regulations of the TSUL and the student hostel of the TSUL;

To follow the instructions and instructions of the heads of the TSUL.

The academic year in the TSUL starts on September 2. The time of the beginning and the end of the holidays, their duration are determined in accordance with the curricula of the TSUL.

Foreign citizens who have expressed a desire to enter the training in the TSUL should be familiarized with the Regulation "On the procedure for admission and training of foreign citizens in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan" approved by Resolution № 169 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 04.08.2008, On the fulfillment of the requirements of this provision.
