Results of the consideration of appeals from physical and legal entities at Tashkent State University of Law

Consideration of appeals from physical and legal entities by Tashkent state university of Law has been established under the law “On consideration of appeals from physical and legal entities the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the Decree of the  Cabinet of Ministers of the   Republic of Uzbekistan “About approval of the typical regulations on the order of work with physical and legal entities in state bodies, state institutions and organizations with the state participation  № 341  on 7 May, 2018”, with the Regulations of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 11, 2018, No. 144, "On the Procedure of Handling Appeals of Physical and Legal Entities in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

In particular, under the approved order No. 08-386 October 14, 2017of the university rector of Tashkent State University of Law “The Instruction for paperwork and control over the execution of documents” and this issue will be further updated.

The university administration has a schedule indicating the time and place of admission of the representatives of physical and legal entities in order to organize electronic reception of them.

Certain activities have been done on media coverage and publication on the official website of the university. In certain, a special page was created in the messenger of the social network @tdyu_murojaat_bot, and university teachers regularly respond to requests from physical and legal entities.

The process of working with appeals on the results of 2019 has been analyzed by the University.

The results of analysis show that the requests received at the university in the past year are mainly related to the activities of the Executive Secretary of the Admission, Registrar’s Office, Human Resources (HR) department and the university archives.

During the period of January-December, 2019, 1819 appeals were received from individuals, 1637 of which were considered in written form and 182 were reviewed orally.

182 persons were welcomed by the rector - Deputy Minister of Justice, 64 persons by deputy rectors, 45 persons were directly welcomed in the office, while 137 of them in the visits.

318 appeals were verbally resolved, 1488 were legally explained, whereas 11 cases (in the reporting period) were sent to the authorities for consideration.

The received appeals consist of 11 complaints, 1808 applications and offers.

24 appeals were received through the Presidential Virtual Reception office.

As the analysis has shown the majority of appeals to the university are related to the educational process and admissions.

In collaboration with Tashkent State University of Law and the channel of “Yoshlar” JSC, the Legal Clinic broadcaster has been launched in order to highlighting the social, economic and political rights of citizens, as well as improving the legal awareness and culture of the population.

The admission committee of Tashkent State University of Law regularly conducts clarifications for applicants and their parents on the merits of the Regulations on admission to higher educational institutions.

In order to improve the efficiency of work with appeals from physical and legal entities, Tashkent State University of Law regularly discusses the work being carried out in this direction at the University Council and weekly meetings with the heads of all departments.
