Our goal:

The department of general sciences and culture is one of the leading departments of the university, which conducts educational and research work in 3 areas: "Social Sciences", "Fundamentals of Economics and Management" and "Legal Information Technology".

We aim to fully study the fields and processes of science related to socio-political, economic and modern legal information technologies in our country and the world, to get acquainted with international experience in this field and to study various normative documents in the field. We are currently cooperating with the Ministry of Justice, the National Association of Non-Governmental Organizations, political parties and higher education institutions of the republic.

Our responsibilities

The main tasks of the department are:

in the field of organization and implementation of educational work - highly qualified, analytical thinking, interpretation of normative legal documents and independent decision-making in the field and specialties of legal education using information and communication technologies using modular systems and innovative teaching methods organization of educational work aimed at the formation of specialists capable of promoting and solving existing and future tasks;

in the field of scientific and methodical work - the development of scientific and methodological bases of the educational process, the provision of teaching materials, the introduction of modern educational technologies that serve to increase the productivity and quality and efficiency of education of teachers by studying foreign experience in this field;

in the field of research - to carry out research on the priorities of socio-economic, democratic and judicial reforms in the country, taking into account the best international practices and international standards, to ensure the implementation of their results in practice ;

in the field of organizational and methodological work - assessment of the quality of education, its analysis, as well as the effective organization of other organizational and methodological activities;

in the field of spiritual and moral and educational work - to help students develop spiritually, intellectually, physically and morally and to respect national values, patriotism, civic spirit, tolerance, respect for laws, national and universal values, to resist harmful influences and currents , to bring up in the spirit of firm beliefs and views on life, a sense of responsibility to the state and society, to understand and adhere to the criteria of humanity, interethnic harmony, justice and the rule of law;

In the field of training of scientific and pedagogical staff, professional development and retraining of pedagogical staff, their internship - the implementation of specific targeted work on the formation of a system of training of scientific and pedagogical staff of the department with rich intellectual and scientific-pedagogical skills.

Our department conducts undergraduate classes in a total of 7 modules:

- Legal Skills and Methodology;

-Law and social sciences.

There are 4 modules in the master's program:

- Advanced Legal Research Methods;

- Strategic Decision Making for Lawyers;

- Corporate Governance;

- Digital law and ethics in social networks.

Scientific potential

23.00.03. - Political Culture and Ideology, 08.00.07 - Finance and Credit, 08.00.09 - World Economy, 08.00.14 - Information Systems and Technologies in Economics, 09.00.04 - Social Philosophy, 13.00.06 - Theory and Methods of Electronic Education research is underway. The research is conducted within the framework of state scientific and technical programs.

In the last three years by the department:

- 7 monographs;

- 10 textbooks;

- Scientific article in more than 20 impact factor journals;

- 16 articles were published in Scopus.

Also

- 5 international;

- 7 republican scientific conferences and round tables were held.

Our programs and projects:

At the Department of "General Sciences and Culture" there are a student scientific circle "Legal philosophy", "Applied Economics" and "Tafakkur". Through these circles, university students strengthen their knowledge and skills in the fields of philosophy of law, politics, economics.

Teaching staff:

Our teachers are constantly working on themselves, improving their skills and knowledge with foreign colleagues, sharing experiences.

Today, the department has 5 associate professors, 7 senior teachers and 2 teachers. We regularly organize master classes with the participation of lawyers and experts in the field in order to ensure the harmony of theory and practice in students.

Teachers of the department are the authors of 10 textbooks, 7 monographs and 6 brochures and information-analytical materials.

In addition, 6 independent researchers will take part in the educational process.
